Franchise Professionals

There are plenty of websites related to franchising.  For these purposes, we recommend you limit your search to UK websites, and to websites aimed at franchisors (the majority are aimed at franchisees). If in doubt, the BFA (British Franchising Association) website is a good starting point.

Personal recommendation is often a good way to meet professional advisers.  Make sure that any franchise advisers are specialists and see our top tips when choosing an adviser

Adverts in magazines or on websites will not tell you much about an adviser, other than the size of their marketing budget. See our top tips for choosing an adviser and contact several advisers if you are at all unsure of your decision. If you find the essential advisers such as the franchise solicitor and bank if funding is needed, they may be able to guide you to other advisers if any are needed.
